well i can answer your question on converting songs. ( I’d just search the web for the answer to your other question)
In iTunes, go to edit, prefrences, then click the Advanced Tab. in the advanced tab click the importing tab.
In “Import Using:” Click MP3 Encoder in the drop down box.
Click OK.
Now select all the songs you want to be in MP3 Format (by holding ctrl and clicking the ones you want in itunes) then right click on one of the ones that is blue and click convert selection to MP3.
what itll do is basically keep those songs the way they are in itunes, make a copy of them and while copying them convert them in to mp3’s.
now you can go into windows media player and however you import songs go do that and the mp3’s are in mydocuments, mymusic, itunes, itunes music. then go to the artist and make sure you import the one that is an MP3.
(you may want to delete the mp3s when you are done b.c they are automatically put into your itunes library again[so basically you have the same song twice but in two different formats])
